Hidden Histories of Liverpool

I am a scouser born and bred - something I am very proud of. I love the city and the people - we have an incredibly rich and remarkable history and heritage.

My ambition with 'Hidden Histories of Liverpool' was to delve into the more obscure stories of the city, stories that we rarely hear about it and, when we do, we want to know more.

There are two episodes viewable here - Episode One is about the IRA Bomb plot of Liverpool in 1939.

Episode Two -  How the sinking of the RMS Lusitania instigated 'the pork chop riots' in areas of the City in 1915.

Both episodes are presented by Dr. Bryce Evans, Senior Lecturer in History at Hope University.
